Mad Science

Today there was a science night at our school. Mad Science came over and did a show and it was reeeeeeally fun. I had a compost project, which was kind of gross, especially the fruit flies flying to your face.

Sing!

The “Phoenix Childrens’ Chorus” (PCC) did a winter concert. We will be doing others soon. Everyone had a great time. Including me! We sang “Hodie,” “In Dulci Jubilo,” “Hine Ma Tov”, and “Cold, and Fugue Season.” We also sang “Angels’ Gloria,” “In Excelsis Deo,” and their traditional finale, “German Lullaby”

Happy 85 th

My great-grandma’s 85th birthday party was great! It was full of opportunity for everyone. I was able to show my poem writing skills to the entire audience. I received many thank-you’s, and my brother was able to say his name to the “whole class” We all had a great time.

“…And a happy new year!”

“Toot! Toot!” “Bang! Bang!” “Crash!” Give a cheer! Happy New Year! Get used to that. New Year is coming soon. Start writing New Year’s resolutions, and planning parties. It’s going to be great!

One Step forward; Two Steps Back

I'm really worried!

I don't know how it happened. I didn't even press any buttons. Somehow, though, I accidentally reset my pedometer for our fitness project! How am I going to get my points back?

I'll bet that my brother will laugh at me. He's been teasing me about how many steps he'd get if it was his project. However, I think that he'd get even less than me.

That isn't entirely fair, because he's been sick a lot.

The Terrible Bus

Monday again! My school starts so early. Classes themselves start at 7:30, let alone catching the 6:45 bus. The bus! That's another problem. and it's not the morning bus that I'm worried about. every afternoon, when I go home on the bus, some people on the bus make this deafening noise. It's really terrible, but once I'm home, I don't need to worry about it any more.

Dear Blog

If you looked at my grades, you'd think that I'm smart. but if you looked at my behavior, you'd think that I'd forget my own name. That's what's confusing about me. I get good grades, and I also forget everything.

My name is A Plus, sometimes known as "Girl." I am ten years old. I live with my mom, dad, grandma, and 6-year-old brother. I like to sing, and I like science. I play violin and I like to travel. Last summer, I went to China.
